Multi-position cylinder

Is there a compact hydraulic cylinder that can perform two strokes as well as two different forces and speeds simultaneously?

> Application: In the return stroke of the hydraulic cylinder, the movement should have two different forces as well as two different speeds.

>> Our solution: Normally, a differential cylinder has less force for the return stroke due to the reduced effective area (with regard to the piston rod).

With our multi-position cylinder, however, you have the option of configuring two independent strokes of up to 100 mm yourself. Depending on the control, the front stroke has a higher force and the other stroke has a higher speed.

A larger bandwidth results if, during demolding of your components (e.g. due to shrinkage), a higher force requirement arises when releasing them from the mold. Then, due to the smaller piston, you can manage the second stroke at a higher speed.

All in all, it can be said that a two-force cylinder is also a two-speed cylinder.

Our multi-position cylinder is available both with and without end position sensing. You have the possibility to choose between 10 different mounting or connection variants.
