Strong hold - locking cylinders deliver what they promise
In numerous applications, hydraulic cylinders are used to move and hold large loads. Locking cylinders are used to ensure that the position remains exactly the same over long periods of time.
In tool and mold making, depending on the article geometry to be sprayed, it may be necessary to create an opening or undercut. In order to keep a core or slider in the cavity in this application, the locking cylinder is used in a block construction. You save complex diagonal slide designs or additional locks and ultimately costs!
With these locking cylinders, a positive locking takes place, which creates a secure connection between the piston and cylinder. When the piston is subsequently moved, the connection can easily be released again.
