Since 2019, companies and the city of Freiburg have been working hand in hand to turn the Hochdorf business park into a climate-friendly showcase location. The 120-hectare site is home to 200 companies with around 4,000 employees who are working together to improve their carbon footprint. Companies such as Taifun Tofu GmbH, Bechtle-IT and HEB GmbH are just a few examples of the local commitment.
Our goal? To work together to reduce the city's CO2 emissions and create a sustainable future through cross-company initiatives.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the founding of the GIP, which will be duly celebrated. Much has already been achieved. Some things still lie ahead. But the goal is always clearly in sight.
