Part 4: Series position switch
The BLZRE400 is a standard block cylinder, equipped with external shift linkage, adjustable shift cams and row position switch. Connected by a cross-connection, the movement is transmitted via the shift rods and shift cams, which actuate the row position switch. By moving the switching cams, switching points can be set as required. The sensing unit can be configured at different cylinder positions and can be used for different designs. The application area is where changing switching points are found in the application and a rough environment prevails. In addition, the BLZRE400 is more heat resistant compared to the BLZNE400.
Application:
In harsher environments (e.g. in die casting), the different travel requirements of the same cylinder are to be monitored via one signal despite changing applications. The BLZRE400 is ideal for this purpose.
