Special cylinders from HEB - What's behind them? Part 3: The hollow piston cylinder? Application: In the production process of a component, a process gas is to be injected. The gas is to be supplied inside the hydraulic cylinder.
! Our solution: A hollow piston cylinder offers both the desired force and the possibility to feed the gas through it. Piston rod and piston are made of one piece and bored through. Inside the piston rod, seals and a second cylinder tube are arranged in order to be able to seal the hydraulic pressure here as well. The hollow piston cylinder can be designed as single- or double-acting, designs as synchronized cylinders are also no problem.
